The Master of Business Administration (International) is a part-time programme jointly offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics of The University of Hong Kong and the School of Management of Fudan University in Shanghai. The Programme is intended for executives with a proven track record as they progress in their business careers. Classes are conducted in the campus of Fudan's School of Management in Shanghai. All these are important in economic and social-policy design and evaluation, business decision-making and our understanding of economic behaviour in general. However, because of their technical nature, these latest advances are not easily accessible to laymen. The programme bridges the gap between technicality and applicability. The Master of Science in Business Analytics (MsBA) programme aims to prepare students for a career in business analytics. A business analytics professional needs to have the necessary skills and knowledge in a range of fields, including business, database, statistics, informatics, operations, as well as in advanced topics in business analytics such as business data mining, big data in business, etc. The program offers students with various business analytics courses, and it prepares an optimal mix of fundamental and cutting-edge knowledge in business analytics. Particularly, the programme will require a total of ten 6-credit courses that consist of five core courses (30 credits) and five elective courses (30 credits). The courses are divided into three streams: general analytics, information analytics, and operations analytics.
If English is not your first language, you will be required to pass an approved English test. We normally ask for IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5in each competency.
