If there is an epidemic 流行病of a particular disease somewhere, it affects a very large number of people there and spreads 傳播 quickly to other areas.

A pandemic疾病的大流行 is an occurrence of a disease that affects many people over a very wide area.

A plague瘟疫 is a very infectious 傳染性的disease that spreads quickly and kills large numbers of people.

To infect 傳染;侵染;感染 people, animals, or plants means to cause them to have a disease or illness.

Disinfectant消毒劑 is a substance that kills germs. It is used, for example, for cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.

Contagion is the spreading of a particular disease by someone touching another person who is already affected by the disease.
